Public Broadcasting Wants a Bailout

It’s not as if the taxpayers weren’t already subsidizing public broadcasting — we are to the tune of $400 million in direct payments and tax deductible donations. Michelle Malkin reports that National Public Radio, the Public Broadcasting System and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is asking Obama for an additional $550 million. There was a time when public broadcasting served a purpose. That time is long gone. Instead of increasing its funding, it’s time these featherbedding entities were eliminated altogether.
